We have been trying to get Alex interested in finger foods but so far his reaction has been comical. He acts like we stuck something very foul into his mouth and he does all that he can to get it out! He loves his baby food though. So far we can get him to chew on an apple after we cut off the peel and he will suck on melons like cantaloupe. He really likes the apples though because he has one little tooth sticking up and it feels good to run his tooth on the apple. Alex is starting to get real good at getting water out of his sippie cups too.
Today we went to the wading pool. There are two little wading pools in town that are only like 6 or 8 inches deep, just enough to get your feet wet, but they are great for little kids to play in. Alex sat in the water and splashed around and had a good time. I will try to get pics of him at the wading pool soon.
