Can you believe it? Alex is 1 year old! He had a bit of a rough birthday because he has a double ear infection, but we had a little party for him last night and he had a BLAST! He got lots of great toys - a helicopter, a workbench, a truck, blocks, bath toys, and clothes! He is a lucky little man! He had so much fun with his new blocks - our friend Mollie would build up a stack of blocks and Alex would knock it over and laugh and laugh. Mollie made a really cool lion cake, and as you can see from the pictures, Alex thought it was delightful! Next week we are going on an adventure to Denver, and then we are planning to close on a house a week and a half after we get back, so it may be a while before we get another post on here. Hope you all have a Happy Halloween! :-)

Pat, Sarah, you're doing a GREAT job! I can't believe he's a year already! Give the big man a traditionally late birthday squeeze from his Auntie, and make sure you take lots of pictures of him in his Halloween costume.
Thanks Katie! :-) You are doing an amazing job too! We will definitely take lots of Halloween pics.
