Sorry it has been so long since we have made a post! Life has been a whirlwind here! Pat is back in school taking 5 classes, and he has been busy and stressed with that! He is still working full time in the evenings as well. Alex has been going to day care for 2 full days each week and then 1 hour on the other 3 days due to our work schedules. He loves it there! On top of all these changes, we have all been really sick with a nasty cold for the past 2 weeks! It seems like we are finally starting to get better.
As far as the house is concerned...well, that has been another whirlwind in itself. The house we planned to buy we are no longer buying. We had the inspector come through and he found a number of things that would need to be repaired or replaced, and they were all very costly items (roof, furnace, electric panel). The sellers did not want to budge much as far as helping with the cost of fixing these items, so we decided not to buy the house. We have spent the last couple of weeks looking at other homes. At this point, we are pursuing a very cute 5 bedroom house right by the hospital. I won't say too much about it because we are very excited yet very hesitant to get our hopes up at this point because of what happened with the last house. If this one doesn't work out, then I think we will take that as a sign that we are not meant to buy a house here!
Alex is getting cuter and cuter every day. He is a very happy little man, and a busy man too! He crawls faster than most can run when he is on a mission. He does the "so big" show now where he will throw his arms up into the air when you ask him how big he is. He only does it when he is in the mood though (we have told people stories about it and then when we try to show off how smart he is, he refuses to do it!).
Here are some pictures of us enjoying the last of the summer heat here in Glendive. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Alex is looking great! It is way too cold in Maine today to go under a sprinkler. The temps are in the 50's! It sounds like the 1st house that you bid on was not meant to be. Hope that you are both well soon.
Take care...
Love, Aunt Marge
