Ultrasound Rescheduled!

Hello all! So, we were supposed to have our ultrasound today and we were going to find out the gender of the baby, however it was unfortunately rescheduled. We are totally bummed out, but it gives us something to look forward to for next week because it is now scheduled for Tuesday, the 6th of April. Apparently they have had some inaccurate measurements with the ultrasounds recently, so they are requiring that everyone be at least 20 weeks along for their ultrasound rather than the typical 18-20 weeks. We will be 20 weeks along next week, so that is why it was pushed back 1 week.

Alex is really enjoying the sunshine these days! Whenever we are inside, he sits in front of the door waiting to go out again. He loves running around in our backyard and watching the neighbors dogs and he loves going for walks in his stroller too! I can't wait until June when we can take him to the pool. Alex says a handful of words now like kitty ("titty"), outside ("ow-sigh"), here, dada, mama, bye-bye, see ya, hello, hi, toast ("tust"), and a few more. He will also point to his ears, nose, eyes, etc. when you ask him to. This morning, I asked him to show me his toes, and he went to the kitchen cupboard and grabbed the toaster thinking I was asking him to show me the toast! It was adorable! We also got a door stopper for our front closet to keep him out of there -- he has figured out how to get the door open with the stopper, and the funny thing is that every time he closes the door, he puts the stopper right back in place (obviously not realizing it is there to keep him out!). He also has his moody days, of course, when he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed and nothing goes right for him, but for the most part, he is a very fun and very energetic little man! He fits so perfectly in our family! :-)

We are very anxiously awaiting next Tuesday, and will post the baby's gender as soon as we know!
