Happy Holidays!

Wow! It has been over a month since we have made a post on here - Sorry! It has been a busy holiday season for us! We had a friend come visit for a couple of days, and he helped us with all kinds of projects around the house which was very nice and unexpected! Then Pat's sister Martha came to visit us for a week over Christmas. We had a lot of fun with her, and Alex really bonded with her! We had planned on going to Watford City to see Pat's grandma and great-aunts and uncle for Christmas, but the weather has been CRAZY here lately! We have had so much snow and the roads have been questionable quite frequently! So, we ended up staying at home for Christmas. We are now working on getting the house cleaned up and back in order.

Alex has been busy these days. Walking has quickly turned into running (when he gets excited!). He loves to rearrange our cupboards and he enjoys cooking up his own concoctions in our pans -- he mixes up shoes, pants, hats, toys, etc. It is very cute! He also likes to play with his trucks quite a bit. He is loving all of the room we have for him to run around in our new house! We are all loving the space!!! :-)

Alex got all kinds of great Christmas presents - mega blocks, trucks, books, CD's, and a little farm set! He was very excited about all of his new toys! He really liked listening to his new music too - he is quite the dancer!!!

Pat is off from school until next Wednesday, which he has definitely enjoyed! Alex and I have enjoyed it as well because it means we get to see a lot more of him on the weekends!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
