Only 7 Weeks or so To Go!

Our baby boy is supposedly a little longer than 17 inches and he weighs a little over 4 lbs. at this point. He is pretty excited that he gets to come out soon as he has been repeatedly trying to kick and punch his way out into the world already (unsuccessfully of course!). We are getting very anxious to meet the little guy - we have just about everything all ready for him. Our friends at work are going to give us a baby shower in a couple of weeks, so that will be nice! In other news, Pat will be starting school in a week. He is going to take 4 classes this semester. Pat has had it rough the last couple of weeks since he got a bad case of poison ivy (or possibly poison oak). It got so bad looking that he had to go into the doctor to get some prednisone. Other than that, not much else is new. We enjoyed our weekend getaways at the beginning of the month, and now we are planning on sticking around for a while and getting some extra sleep before we don't get to sleep anymore!
